Imagine...

... sitting in the beautiful countryside or a small medieval village in south west France with just your paints and your thoughts.

... painting in a small group with help and advice from a local, highly regarded and talented artist.

... looking forward to an expertly cooked evening meal using local fresh ingedients with matching local wines.

... relaxing before dinner in the peaceful gardens of a quiet French château.

... retiring to your luxury accommodation for a peaceful night's sleep before breakfast and another day's drawing and painting.

Sounds like a great way to spend a few days?

We're looking at new dates for painting workshops for 2021 to give you the opportunity to sample some of the incredible painting and drawing locations of the Lot-et-Garonne region of France, accompanied by full-board accommodation in Château Ladausse. Please contact us to be updated with 2021 information as soon as we have it.

Some Questions

If there's anything else you need to know, please get in touch using our contact page >

I'm a complete beginner - is this suitable for me?

Of course. With small numbers on the course, you have plenty of time to learn at your own pace. Jon has run several beginners watercolour courses in Monflanquin over the past few years.

Can you collect me from a station or airport?

Although transport isn't included in the cost, we can arrange this for you. Please ask.

Can you provide equipment?

With some advance warning we can provide art materials at cost price to us. Please email to discuss your requirements.

I have a non-painting partner. Can they come?

They would be very welcome and there's plenty for them to do while you're painting. As well as exploring the local towns and villages, well-being treatments are available at the the château. There's also a lovely outdoor pool when the weather allows. Private sightseeing tours can also be arranged. Please inquire. We can also propose sightseeing driving tours for spouses to explore on their own.
