Chateau Ladausse | Your luxury accommodation


What’s included in the 4 night / 5 day workshop:


  • Help, guidance and instruction with local artist Jon Sephton from Monday afternoon to Friday Lunchtime. Jon will be available from breakfast until your evening mealtime.


  • 4 nights luxury stay at 17th Century Château Ladausse (restored with modern amenities and chic decorating).


  • All meals use freshly prepared, high quality ingredients from local farms or markets.
  • Organic, healthy & nutritious snacks and drinks will be available to all guests throughout the day
  • 3 French breakfasts, 1 brunch (final day) and 4 lunches (Monday to Thursday)
  • 4 dinners with wine. Water (sparkling and still) and teas or infusions are included with the meals.

Additional activities included in the cost

  • 1 cooking lesson/demo by Diane on appetizers for those who wish.
  • 1 wine atelier discussion at 1 dinner by Eric.

What’s NOT included in the 4 night / 5 day package:

  • Art materials
  • All expenses before arriving at Château Ladausse (any hotel and restaurants, transportation to/from France, etc).
  • Transportation to/from Château Ladausse, or while staying at Château Ladausse.
  • Any massages, manicures/pedicures or other beauty programs that guests may elect to have while on-site (these are also available to spouses that do not participate in the painting lessons).

Terms and Conditions

Chateau Ladausse will collect the fee from guests for the full Artist Retreat program (which includes the tuition fee for Joh Sephton’s services).

Downpayment to Reserve the Program:

Château Ladausse requests a 50% deposit to hold a reservation. The balance is due 4 weeks before the program start date.

Minimum & Maximum Group Size & Room Occupancies

We are pleased to allow a minimum group size of 2 guests in 2020. In this case, Château Ladausse can rent the remaining rooms to other guests.

The maximum number of guests taking part in the art activity is 8. This is to ensure a high level of interaction.

The maximum total number of guests (including non-participants) is 20. To host up to 20 people requires sharing in the suites and bedrooms.

Acceptable means of payment to Chateau Ladausse: Cheques (Euro), credit card (at a distance or on-site), or electronic bank transfers (to an account in France).
